Laura Richey, DVM

Veterinarian and Owner of Animal House Mobile Veterinary Practice

I was born and raised in Spencer County Indiana and graduated from South Spencer High School.  As a 10 year member of Spencer County 4-H, I showed horses, dogs, cats, and exhibited fine arts.  My family had many animals big and small, and I decided I wanted to be a veterinarian at age 5.  I was always surrounded by animals, from horses to dogs to cats.  I took pride in caring for animals which fueled my desire to pursue my dreams of being a veterinarian.

I graduated from Purdue's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.  After graduation, I spent a year at a mixed animal practice caring for cats, dogs, horses, and even goats.  The next chapter in my career was working at Kentuckiana Animal Clinic in Owensboro KY where I remained for the next 10 years.  I will forever be grateful for my time at Kentuckiana and the relationships I made with co-workers and clients.  As one chapter closes, another one begins, and I welcome you to  Animal House Mobile Veterinary Practice!

When not working, I enjoy being with my family: my husband, Rick, and two children, Carlee and Noah.  We live on a farm with lots of animals including horses, cattle, goats, dogs, and cats.  They keep us very busy!  I also enjoy traveling and crochet.  Thank you for taking an interest in Animal House, and we hope to see you soon!

Dana Brown, LVT

Veterinary Technician

Dana has over 20 years of experience working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician.  She graduated from Murray State with her degree as a Veterinary Technician in 1995.  She brings a wealth of experience and loving care to our patients.  Dana enjoys spending time with her family.  Along with her husband, Brad, and daughters, Brooke and Delaney, they enjoy camping, fast pitch softball tournaments, and competitive cheer competitions.

Assistant/Driver

You may have seen Rick occasionally helping out.  He is Dr Richey's husband and acts as backup for Dana!  His real life job is with cabinetry, but we think he does an excellent job on Animal House too!
